​Session 1 : What's going on, a Dynamo update - Mike Turpin
With so many changes and developments over the past year relating to Dynamo this beginner focussed session will explain some of the updates, new features and information you need to know. We will look at what has changed, why it's changed and how this might help or impact you in your day to day use of Dynamo.

Session 2 : Understanding Refinery results with machine learning, Hackathon project - Justyna Szychowska
A brief insight into the second Dynamo+Generative Design Hackathon in Toronto and the Seurat project developed by team #lastminute. Seurat is a Dynamo extension that captures Refinery results, and with the help of two machine learning algorithms, visualises them in a 3D and 2D space and organize into groups of solutions.

Session 3: Pandamo - Data science for Dynamo - Sylvester Knudsen
A jump into data science with Dynamo.... and Pandas.....🐼

An evening of community member presentations, breakouts and tips&tricks.

We have three brilliant speakers lined up for this event. We will cover a personal journey for getting started with Dynamo, using your own Python node to batch query Revit families and a presentation on privacy and security considerations when deploying Dynamo and Dynamo Player! As always, the three presentations will be followed up with breakout sessions to give you the opportunity to dive deeper in to each topic with the presenters.

South – Dynamo Team Special - 15th February 2018

Join the Dynamo team to see what's new in Dynamo 2.0

​​The UK Dynamo South Committee are very pleased to announce our next meeting will be yet another super one-off special. At our events so far we've seen numerous workflows, scripts, live coding and even how the DesignScript language came to be. So how about we now turn our attention to...Dynamo itself ?

We'll be hosting the Autodesk Dynamo team themselves in London to tell you about the future of Dynamo and what it teaches us about computing. It's not everyday we get to see & talk to the team building our favourite visual programming platform, so don't miss this one !

South - Festive Social Drinks

It's the most Dynamo time of the year.

​Seasonal greetings fellow UK dynamo user group member!

To celebrate an exceptional year of innovation and collaboration, the south committee has decided that it would be great for us to gather in the run up to the festive period. Unlike standard user group meetings, there won’t be any presentations, but there will still be beverages and lively discussions with your peers.

In keeping with the yuletide mood, DynaSanta will administer a prize draw! 

Notes
Beverages and food are not being sponsored on this occasion. We will not be enforcing ticketing at this event and there is no '3x per company' limited as per our usual conditions.

South - DesignScript Special with Dr Robert Aish - 11th October

The UK Dynamo South Committee were very pleased to host a super one-off special with a different format to our usual meetings. We are grateful Dr Robert Aish, the "father of DesignScript" was able to come over and present the ins and outs of computational design language DesignScript.
